Discover what makes Sarhny different
From anonymous messages and mirrors to the night room and games with friends — every Sarhny feature, explained. Read them and decide if Sarhny is for you.
Your identity stays hidden, always
Safe anonymous messages
Anyone who opens your /username link can write you anonymously without ever revealing their identity — even to you, and with no annoying verification step. You get three layers of protection: rate limits that shut down automated blasts, an abuse filter that strips links, numbers, and offensive words, and a report button that stops an abuser from reaching you again.
I was having a bad day. You made me smile.
I've loved you in silence for two years.
How others honestly see you
Mirrors
Ask a question your friends look through at you — like "Honestly, how do you see me?". Recurring words in their replies form a tag cloud that shows you yourself through their eyes. Senders are anonymous. Words are honest.
Nameless confessions that vanish at dawn
Al-Musamara — the night room
Open every night from 10 PM to 4 AM Riyadh time, with one topic per night. Signed-in members post up to 3 confessions a night, each up to 280 characters, and the author is never shown. Reactions only — five of them, no comments — and a live counter of who's up. At dawn every confession is wiped.
Six free games in the «Arena» tab
Sarhny games with friends
My Farm, Showdown (rock-paper-scissors), Ludo, Tic-Tac-Toe, Carrom and Sarhny Blocks. Most can be played against the computer or online with a friend you invite by a 6-character code or a link, and My Farm is a daily farm where you raise a companion and visit the farms of people you follow.
Your progress shows on your profile
Top players, avatar frames and the creator badge
Each game has a top-50 leaderboard (Ludo, Carrom, Sarhny Blocks, Tic-Tac-Toe, Showdown), and your profile has a games-achievements page with your wins and best scores. Avatar frames unlock by the number of your public replies and show around your photo everywhere. The «Creator» badge is granted by the Sarhny team to content creators and lets them pin one reply to the top of their profile and use an exclusive story-card theme.
Identity protected, abuse not tolerated

Each thought has a home
Three identities
Moments for the fleeting, faces for replies, minds for thoughts worth dwelling on. Each section has its own crystallization threshold — deep ideas earn their keep more easily, fleeting moments must be truly exceptional.
Pulse → scene → depth
Triple-layered post
Each post carries up to three layers: an irresistible headline, a body that holds the idea, and a depth layer for those who keep reading. Each layer multiplies gravity (×1.0 → ×1.8 → ×3.5), so deep readers reward the author more.
×1.0×1.8×3.524 hours to earn forever
Crystallize or archive
Every new post starts a 24-hour race. Genuine interactions build its gravity. Cross the threshold → crystallized forever on your profile, and it keeps shining in the feed with every new reaction. Don't → it moves quietly to your private archive. No public noise, and nothing is lost.
A fair economy
Attention economy
Each day you get 100 points. Every interaction costs: like = 1, save = 3, comment = 15. Attention is naturally scarce, and when it has a price you only spend it on what's worth it — no spam, no empty hearts.
Habits become character
The daily glow
Each day you post adds to your streak 🔥. Break the chain → reset to zero. Milestones: 7, 30, 100, 365 days. One monthly freeze for 50 attention points — for travel days or rough patches.
Sarhny features FAQ
What are the avatar frames in Sarhny?
A frame drawn around your photo everywhere on Sarhny. Frames unlock by the number of your public replies — Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, then Royal — and you can wear any level you've unlocked.
What does the «Creator» badge give you?
The Sarhny team grants it to content creators. It shows on their public profile, lets them pin one reply to the top of it, and unlocks an exclusive story-card theme.
What are the three identities in Sarhny?
Every post in Sarhny belongs to one of three sections: moments (passing thoughts), faces (direct replies to others), and minds (long-form reflections). Each section has its own crystallization threshold — a moment needs strong resonance to survive, while a deep thought is kept more easily.
What are Mirrors and how do they work?
Mirrors are open questions you publish to invite anonymous answers from your followers (or anyone who opens the link). Each mirror has its own shareable page that collects honest replies. You can keep the answers private or publish them to inspire others.
What does it mean for a post to 'crystallize'?
Every post starts a 24-hour race. If it earns enough resonance (likes, comments, anonymous replies) before time runs out, it crystallizes: it stays forever on your profile and keeps surfacing in the feed with every new reaction. What doesn't crystallize isn't lost — it moves quietly to your private archive, visible only to you. The principle: only what earned it stays public.
What is the Daily Glow?
Glow is a visual badge that appears next to your handle when you publish content that crystallized today. A small personal achievement that rewards the effort, not your follower count.
How does Sarhny's attention economy work?
Each account gets a daily attention budget to spend on interactions, refilled every day. This prevents spam and encourages thoughtful engagement over volume.
Is Sarhny safe? How are users protected from abuse?
Yes. Anonymous messages pass through an automated filter for slurs, phone numbers, and untrusted external links. You can block specific senders, fully disable anonymous messages, or limit them to verified accounts only. Every message is deletable and reportable.
Can I export my content if I delete my account?
Yes. An export option in Settings downloads every post, answer, and anonymous message you've received as JSON. Account deletion then erases the data permanently from our servers within 30 days.
Is Sarhny free?
Yes. Sarhny is completely free with no subscription: your account, posting, receiving and answering anonymous messages, mirrors, the night room and the games.
