Do u follow a religion?

I guess after how I saw that religions are more likely paths to communicate with god and every religion fights for authenticity of the valid ways and originality... after comparative studying them, Islam proved to be a filter to every previous religion, fixing and updating their information. However, I noticed that humane and humanity has no barriers and mercy and compassion if taught well, no one will ever have feuds. Democracy is the ultimate justice...religions are forms of democracy, yet their style of handling human nature is by inserting irrational fear to subjugate them to rules... during religion wars and crucification, I saw how each has a history of condemning people to death, and murder for the sake of control and power...I am a “Theist” I believe in a higher power, a universal power...yet I do not know exactly how to reach it, but I acknowledge it’s existence...and it’s divine and beautiful and if all life across the universe were created by a higher power, the higher power wouldn’t want it’s creation to fight amongst each other and ruin the blesses we have been given...we say we are humane, and that’s what makes us special, the power to reason, the power to communicate and construct what we need...yet we use most of these gifts, to create destruction and hurt.
